Job Description
Position: Fiber Ribbon Splicer
Pay Rate: 30/hr to 38/hr
Location: Red Oak, TX
Duration: 3 months with extensions
Openings: 5
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Must-Haves:
• At least 1 year of fiber splicing experience
• Data center experience/exposure • Ability to splice ribbon fiber efficiently
• Ability to prep and handle ribbon fiber efficiently
• Strong fiber-splicing fundamentals
• Basic knowledge of fiber testing and troubleshooting
• Ability to work with high-count fiber cables
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENC E
• Spider ribbon fiber experience • Experience splicing high-count cables in active data centers • Experience troubleshooting previously installed fiber • Experience working under aggressive production timelines • Testing experience
