Carpenter

HireQuest is seeking experienced and dependable Carpenters to join our team. This is a hands-on position for individuals who take pride in quality workmanship and can work independently or as part of a crew to complete residential and commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Perform rough and finish carpentry work.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Measure, cut, and install building materials accurately.
• Complete projects safely, efficiently, and according to quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and customers throughout the project.

Requirements:

• Previous carpentry experience required.
• Must have your own tape measure and basic hand tools.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic construction math.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move construction materials as needed.
• Strong verbal communication, written communication, and active listening skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
